In designing the Aga Khan Museum, Fumihiko Maki, recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, drew inspiration from light. He envisioned a building where light is ever present — shifting with the time of day and season to animate the architecture in myriad ways, casting patterns across Brazilian granite walls, enhancing interior spaces, and illuminating the open roofed courtyard.
Inspired by this architectural vision, JUMA created an illustration that translates the Museum’s play of light and form into a series of ready to wear clothing and accessories. The collection is crafted from soft, luxurious textiles made using recycled water bottles.
The Aga Khan Museum Architectural Print Series Travel Bag is made from 3 recycled water bottles.
Constructed from 100% RPET fabric derived from recycled plastic water bottles.
