In designing the Aga Khan Museum, Fumihiko Maki, recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, drew inspiration from light. He envisioned a building where light is ever present — shifting with the time of day and season to animate the architecture in myriad ways, casting patterns across Brazilian granite walls, enhancing interior spaces, and illuminating the open-roofed courtyard.
Inspired by this architectural vision, JUMA created an illustration that translates the Museum’s play of light and form into a series of ready to wear clothing and accessories. The collection is crafted from soft, luxurious textiles made using recycled water bottles.
The Aga Khan Museum x JUMA Architectural Series Hoodie is crafted from 4 recycled water bottles.
Constructed from 50% RPET fabric derived from plastic water bottles and 50% cotton.
Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low.
